Writing Challenge

We are pleased to announce the third annual Writing Challenge offered through Aya Collective Publishing. Initially kicking off in 2024, this challenge is designed to help you meet your writing goals for the year. Whether your goal is to develop a journaling practice, start writing a book that you have been putting off for years, or finish your manuscript, this space is for you.

Meet your facilitators

  • Elizabeth Price has been around Aya Collective since we released Let the Black Women Say Ase’ in 2022. In this volume, she contributed several poems, including but not limited to “There are spaces in here for everybody’s problems except mine.” She is now the author of the recently published book, A Yearner’s Soliloquy.
  • Ife Olatunji is a long-time contributor and friend to Aya Collective Publishing, participating in our 2020 Talking Back Teach-in Series and contributing to our collection, Let the Black Women Say Ase. A film-maker, Ife is now turning her fiction piece from Ase’ into a short film. Support her amazing work.
