A Sacred Writing Portal for Black Women to Reflect, Remember, and Reclaim
Welcome to She Writes Holy — a sacred digital space where Black women gather in spirit, intention, and creativity. This is the home of Writing Prompt Wednesdays and Sacred Saturdays — two beloved practices that honor our stories, our healing, and our sacred inner voice.
🖊️ Writing Prompt Wednesdays offers weekly invitations to return to the page — to reflect, reclaim, and reimagine.
Over the past year, we’ve written in conversation with our published texts, including Reconsidering Eve and Finding the Voice Within, while also exploring themes like grief, loss, and remembrance.
Our upcoming series will center Black women practicing self-love, self-compassion, and self-empathy — writing from tenderness, truth, and the radical act of care.
🌅 Sacred Saturdays is our monthly virtual gathering — an early morning writing session held in community with Black women.
Before the demands of the day begin, we come together to breathe, to listen, and to write.
Our recent sessions have focused on Finding the Voice Within, combining reflective prompts with video offerings to deepen your writing journey.
Together, these two practices form a living rhythm — a space for reflection, ritual, and renewal.
This is more than a writing space.
This is a sanctuary.
This is She Writes Holy.
