Over the last eight years, the Aya Collective has hosted dozens of writing workshops, produced several anthologies, and deepened the collective of Black women committed to writing. Here are three concrete ways where you can financially support our work so that we can continue on our mission:

🌿 Become a sustaining member: Becoming a sustaining member of the Aya Collective gives participants in the Aya Collective’s work the opportunity to further their involvement. This includes writing and publishing with us, facilitating writing workshops, and playing a key role in advising the direction of the organization.

Membership Levels:

• Seed Membership — 2 free texts per year + enrollment in 2026 Writing Challenge ($69/year)
  
• Building Membership — 3 free texts per year, enrollment in 2026 Writing Challenge, 1 coaching session ($129/year)
  
• Harvest Membership — 3 free texts per year, enrollment in 2026 Writing Challenge, 1 coaching session, shared profits in Aya Collective Publishing ($199/year)

🌿 Become an ambassador:

Ambassadors help spread the word—sharing our newsletters, amplifying our social media, and connecting others to our mission. As an ambassador, you’ll join a community of dynamic leaders dedicated to helping Black women writers connect to community, engage with our work, and—when they’re ready—publish their own.
